Based on the book "Roadside Picnic" by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. The game follows the book. Footprints left by the aliens after their visit changed the nature of the Earth. Zones of "contamination" remain, bearing hidden treasures. Despite the mortal risk, brave "stalkers" dare to enter these Zones in order to take out the objects left by the aliens, such as the ship "Khabar". The leakage of Khabar is being suppressed by governments in every possible way. Stalking has been outlawed in the vicinity of the Zones, and special Institutes for the Study of Anomalous Phenomena have sprung up. The Zones are fenced with barbed wire and guarded by police and troops. Life in the cities adjacent to the Zones is unbearable, and you need to buy a Visa to leave. Money can only be obtained by successfully selling to dealers. You take on the role of one of these "Stalkers" in the game. The game is for those who love risk, fantasy and adventure.
